Privacy Statement about Huawei IP Club - WEU
Huawei IP Club -WEU is a technical community, a platform for point collection and redeem for registered member partners and customers, operated by Huawei HQ, Huawei WEU Region and Huawei Local Companies as defined in Chapter 5 (hereinafter referred to as "Huawei", "we", "us" or "our").
We understand the importance of your privacy, and pledge to take all appropriate security measures to protect it in accordance with the industry's well-established safety standards.

Personal data means any information that enables Huawei to identify you as a natural person.
1.1 Your personal data are necessary for us to provide you with the following services as requested by you and/or to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you. Without relevant information in below, the functions will be partially or fully suspended:
1) Membership Registration: your e-mail address, first name, last name, country, company, telephone number (optional), job title, industry, sub industry and interested IP solution (optional) will be collected on registration page according to your input.
2) Personal Profile: to enable your viewing and revise the registered information for membership and set the nickname for the forum, relevant data will be presented in your “personal profile”.
3) Login: You can set password after Membership Registration, then you can login by either verification code or password.
4) Task Center: we will release different tasks in Task Center, among which if you choose to feedback questionnaire, your account (e-mail, member ID) and feedback content will be processed to complete the tasks.
5) Quick access to IP Club Events: your country provided during membership registration will be used to present the event that you can join and suitable materials to your region. Subject to your choice to participate and consent to the terms of different events, your membership registration information will be shared for quick participation. Further data processed during participation, is dependent on the rules and design for the event.
6) Post and Activities Records: to enable you track the participated IP Club Activities and relevant materials, and find the post you published or liked in the Forum, the relevant record will be preserved and presented at “My Activities” and “My Favorites, My Posts” section.
7) Forum: your nickname, post content and interactive behavior (comments, like, dislike, favorite, forward, etc.) will be processed.
8) Points Management: based on the Rules of Point Collection, your record of below actions will be processed to raise the point under your account

-completeness of the assigned Tasks:
your account (e-mail, member ID) and the task

-interactions in the Forum (post, comments, like, dislike, favorite,
etc.)

Your point generation and consumption history can be viewed on Points Details page.
9) Redeem Points and delivery: After redeem your points for selected items in Redeem Points part, we will need receiver’s name, telephone number and address to deliver the selected item.
1.2 Huawei uses your personal data based on our legitimate interests and to protect your interest as follows:
1) Feedback: you can raise any comments/suggestions in Feedback page. The feedback content and your membership registration information as necessary (first name, last name, e-mail and company) will be needed for us to respond.
2) Maintenance: your relevant data will be processed to do trouble shooting depending on the issues occur.
3) Security auditing: to prevent malicious operation and ensure platform security, your login record will be examined.
1.3 Huawei processes your personal data based on your consent:
1) EDM: your country, industry, job title will be used as filter so that we can e-mail you the customized content. This is based on your consent.
2) Customized Recommendation: at your choice and consent, you can provide additional info to receive customized recommendation and be granted relevant points. Those information includes nickname for the forum, salutation, time range of working years and company size.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section 4 of this statement.
1.4 Additionally we will process your personal data as necessary to establish or defend our legal rights.
We retain your personal data for no longer than that is necessary for the purposes defined in this Statement.

Huawei Local Companies and Huawei WEU Region will transfer registration and attending records of IP Club activities at their respective level to Huawei HQ in China to calculate the points. |
